Bonduel 0 Navarino 2

The Broncos held the Rangers scoreless for the final four innings of the exhibition game held in Navarino on Thursday night. Unfortunately, the Rangers did all the damage that they would need in the first two innings to notch a 2 - 0 win over the Broncos.

Luke Kostreva used an efficient 59 pitches in suffering his first loss of the season. The Rangers managed seven hits, 2 runs all earned, and only had one strike out. After giving up four hits in the first two innings, Luke settled down and dispersed three hits over the next five innings.

The Broncos only managed two hits, one in the second and one in the third. It was not enough as Bonduel had only one runner at third in the third. Eric Gruenewald and Luke Kostreva had a hit a piece to lead the Broncos.

The loss ends the Broncos two game winning streak but fortunately does not affect any Dairyland League records.

July 4 brings the annual Bronco game with hundreds of people in attendance. Make the Broncos part of your family's holiday celebration and cheer on our Broncos.
