J. C. Reinke made his first start of the 2009 campaign a memorable one. He pitched a nine inning gem by striking out 12 giving up 7 hits, 4 walks, and most importantly only two runs.

While falling behind 1 - 0 after one inning, the Broncos came roaring back by scoring two in the second. They followed that up with one run in the fourth and 3 in the fifth. Leading the hitting for the Broncos was Eric Gruenewald who went 4 -5 with three doubles and two RBIs. Matt Scheelk followed with 2 hits on three attempts. Craig Hartlaben, Derek Cook, Zach Reinke, and Terry Boettcher had one hit each.

Congratulations to the Broncos for getting back on the winning end of a ball game. The win gets Bonduel over the .500 mark in Dairyleague play improving to 2-2. Their overall record for the 2009 season improves to 9 wins followed with 3 losses.
