Bonduel 11 Nichols 1
Bonduel continued its winning ways with a dominating outing against the Nichols Nitros on Friday night. With a complete game by Luke Kostreva which included seven strikeouts, zero walks, eight hits, and one earned run, no other pitcher was needed to shut down the Nitros.
Leading the Broncos in hitting was Jon Nolan (3-4, 2B, 1R), Craig Hartlaben (2-2, 2-2B, 2R), Luke Kostreva (2-4), Jake Reinke (2-2, 1BB, 2RBI, 1R), Ben Prodell (HR, 3RBI), and Matt Scheelk (HR, 2RBI).
Most of the damage was done in Bonduel's half of the sixth inning with the team scoring nine runs.
