Bonduel 1, Shawano Lobos 11

In opening Dairyland League play, the Shawano Lobos handed Eric Gruenewald his first loss of the season. In three and 2/3 innings, Eric struck out 9, walked 5, gave up six hits with six earned runs. Joe Leitzke pitched two and 1/3 innings with six strike outs, one BB, three hits, and one earned run. Mark Reinke finished the game by pitching 1/3 of an inning giving up 4 hits, three runs all of them earned.

Leading the Broncos in hitting were Jason Wesenberg with two hits in three at bats. Craig Hartlaben and Jake Reinke had a hit a piece.

The Broncos will look to bounce back against the Pulaski Reds on May 22 in Bonduel. Game time 7:30 P.M.
